Messy Church: The good Samaritan

We met on Sunday to hear about the story of the Good Samaritan.

Together, we made first aid boxes filled with goodies to help in an emergency (like tissues, plasters and sweeties), all connected to how we can show one another kindness and care; heart-shaped cards for kind messages; decorated biscuits, led by our teenagers; and learned how to put on bandages. We also had our ever-popular toddler corner with the ball pool and little tents to hide in, a child-appropriate prayer time, and a great game of Good Samaritan tig, before sharing a lovely supper together.

Our next Messy Church will take place on Sunday, 15th November, 4-6pm, in the Village Hall in Humbie, and all children of preschool and primary school age, together with their adults, are warmly invited! We have a wonderful team, and it would be lovely to see more children join in, so please spread the word.
