KNITTING GROUPS

We have two community knitting groups who meet regularly - one in Gifford and one in East Saltoun.

The Gifford group meets during the autumn and winter in the meeting room in Yester Church
to knit and natter
from 2-3.30pm on Thursdays 
​(access is through the door at the back of the church).

We make items for various charities using donated wool, ​or continue with "our own" knitting.

We welcome anyone who would like to join us or to donate some unwanted wool - please get in touch.

The East Saltoun group, the Knot Knits, concentrates on Fair Isle knitting, under the skillful guidance of Janet,
and meets on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm in the Session Rooms, throughout the year.
