MESSY CHURCH

Every few months, we meet for an afternoon of Messy Church - a time for children of different ages and for their parents, grandparents and carers to come together, hear a Bible story and explore it through crafts, storytelling, music and lots of fun, before sharing a meal together. 

​Our next Messy Church takes place on Sunday, 20th September, 4-6pm in the Fletcher Hall in East Saltoun. We'll hear about the story of the Good Samaritan, with crafts and games, perhaps even some hands-on first-aid practice for the kids, a toddler corner, child-appropriate prayer time, and a shared tea for the children.

All children of pre-school and primary school age are warmly invited, together with their parents, grandparents or carers.

We have a wonderful team, and it would be lovely to see more children join in, so please spread the word.

The next event after this will be on Sunday 15th November (Humbie).

​On Sunday, 10th May, we met in the Village Hall in Garvald, to explore the story of Daniel in the Lions' Den. 

We made lion masks, decorated Daniel and lion biscuits, made lion sock puppets and paper angels. there was also a game of 'What's the time, Mr/ Mrs Lion?', and of course, delicious macaroni cheese.
